Innovation Teams: Analyze & Report

The client, Fairwind Trades Tattoo Collective, needed assistance with boosting the reputation and presence among their target audience. The team provided networking resources, including event and contact information, and updated the business' website to address this request. The studio's website was updated to include a photographic gallery, a video highlighting the studio's interior, individual pages for each tattoo artist with their social media and contact information, and an FAQ section. In addition, several events and networking ideas were given to the studio for future success.

Innovation Teams: Research & Execute,

Exhibit for Jeremy Janus Nature Photographer

While working with Jeremy Janus, our innovations team was able to accomplish four major tasks. First was the filming production of his interview and supporting B’roll footage. Our team then created a seven-minute thirty-second video for Jeremy, talking about his battle with depression and the impact of nature photography through his life experiences. We also created a shorter one-minute thirty-second video for his use as an introduction on his YouTube channel, website landing page, and at galleries he presents his works at. The final major accomplishment was putting on the “Change Your Perspective, Inspire the World” Mental Health Awareness Event. I was the lead on this part of the project, from planning, marketing, and creation. This event was used to premier the videos our team created, allow for others to explore Jeremy’s art, and included a meet and greet/ book signing and a presentation by Jeremy pertaining to his personal battle with mental health in which we highlighted services offered on campus.

Clydes Closet Final Report.png

Innovation 4010 is the last of the multi-disciplinary teams' course within the innovation discipline. Here, I was a co-leader for our client, Clyde's Closet, a T. Rowe Price Career Center service that provides free, gently used professional clothing for UCCS students and alumni to utilize for interviews, career fairs, special events, and everything in between. Our client requested help in developing metrics of sustainability, raising awareness, and streamlining the incoming/outgoing process.

Business and Professional Communication

Building on an idea I had way back in my first entrepreneur class, this final project For Business Communication is a full proposal for a military driven PCS (Permanent Change of Station) mobile application.

Business and Intellectual Property Law

The goal of this class is to leave knowing how to communicate with lawyers regarding intellectual property law and basic business law. We focus on Intellectual Property Law and really get into the nuts and bolts, including a patent team project based on an orginal idea. We also gain valuable experience protecting our intellectual property rights, be it in a court proceeding, a disposition, or in arbitration. Below is my team's patent for a Bendable Pliable Interactive Screen Device.
